On 27 February 2026, the Annual Conference of Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs) of Ukraine was held in Kyiv within the framework of the GEIPP-II Ukraine project, implemented by UNIDO with the support of the Government of Switzerland through SECO and in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The main theme of the conference was supporting Ukraine’s green recovery through mobilizing financing for the development of EIPs.
During the event, the following topics were also discussed:
- Mobilizing funding for modernization: financial instruments and investment potential
- ESG standards as a gateway to EU markets
- Efficiency and savings: real case studies from park residents
- State support and policy incentives
The conference gathered over 770 participants (including 199 participants attending in person), representing government authorities, the financial sector, business, international organizations, and media.
An exhibition of industrial parks from various regions of Ukraine was also held as part of the event.
