On behalf of the “Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme in Ukraine – Phase II: Country-Level Intervention” (GEIPP-II Ukraine Project), implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and supported by the Government of Switzerland through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), we kindly invite you to participate in the online awareness-raising workshop on benefits of EIPs and RECP for regional clusters, which will take place from 3 to 4 June 2025.
The GEIPP program aims to implement circular economy approaches in industry, reduce the climate impact of industrial activities, and enhance the resilience of industrial parks to climate change.
In 2025, the second phase (GEIPP-II) of this Programme was launched in Ukraine. GEIPP-II takes into account the specific circumstances in Ukraine, which are a driver for the relocation of value chains along the concept of industrial clusters, as basis for IP reconversion and greenfield IP development in the western part of the country.
Тhe workshop will focus on empowering local actors to implement sustainable industrial strategies aimed at enhancing competitiveness, resilience, and environmental performance within industrial clusters.
The workshop modules will cover the following EIP topics:
– Overview of regional clusters.
– EIP approach and its integration in the development of clusters.
– Contribution of clusters and EIPs to Circular Economy.
Target audience
The workshop is intended for participating representatives of:
– chambers of commerce and industry;
– regional business clusters;
– development agencies/organizations;
– associations;
– regional and local authorities.

Format: online (requires prior registration).
Duration: two days (1,5 hours each day).
Dates: 3-4 June 2025.
