Eco-Industrial Parks Programme II - Ukraine Country Level intervention

Registration for Participation in the 2nd Meeting of the National Eco-Industrial Parks Platform

On 1 October 2026, the 2nd meeting of the National Eco-Industrial Parks Platform will take place in Kyiv. The platform brings together key stakeholders to jointly develop practical approaches to advance sustainable industrialization in Ukraine.

Why is the National EIP Platform needed?

The development of eco-industrial parks in Ukraine is a powerful tool for reducing business costs, creating quality jobs, preparing Ukrainian industry for EU standards, and attracting green finance. For this transition to be systematic and effective, continuous dialogue among all stakeholders is essential. This is why the National EIP Platform was established – as a space for exchanging practical solutions, fostering cross-sectoral cooperation, and accelerating the development of eco-industrial parks across the country.

What will be discussed at the second meeting?

The event agenda reflects the results of a survey on priority topics for discussion. The areas that attracted the greatest interest include the practical implementation of circular economy approaches, international standards for sustainable development and related training, as well as grant funding and other financial support for industrial park projects, including initiatives in renewable energy and resource efficiency.

To address these and other issues related to the development of industrial parks, relevant experts have been invited to the meeting.

Participants will also learn about progress in integrating the EIP approach into strategic documents and regulations, as well as selected practical examples of implementing EIP model approaches in Ukrainian industrial parks. In addition, meeting participants will jointly identify challenges and priorities for the sustainable development of industrial parks that should be addressed going forward.

Who can participate?

The event is intended for a wide range of stakeholders: management companies and resident companies of industrial parks, representatives of ministries, regional and local authorities, business associations and clusters, experts in circular economy, industrial symbiosis and sustainable development, financial institutions and investors interested in EIPs, service companies, businesses, as well as educational institutions and research organizations. If your work is related to industrial development, energy efficiency, or the green transformation of the economy, this event is for you.
