The Training on provisions of EIP development to the draft IP strategy in Ukraine was held on November 30, 2021. The objectives of the Training with participations of representatives of the Interdepartmental Working Group (IWG) on EIP policy development in Ukraine and decision-makers with International Experts were the following:
To disseminate international experience in sphere of EIPs, to coach national representatives of state authorities and business representatives who are involved in the development of EIP policy, namely members of the official Interdepartmental Working Group on EIP policy developing in Ukraine, including issues of suitable policy instruments for EIP, approach to assess the economic, environmental, and social benefits of EIPs investments, examples from international experiences. Criteria to prioritize policy interventions.
Strengthening capacity-building on international experience in the field of EIPs of the IWG Members.
To discuss provisions on EIPs to be included in the draft Industrial Parks Development Strategy with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the IWG Members.
