The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), within the framework of the Global Eco-Industrial Park Programme (GEIPP) funded by Switzerland through the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), invites you to participate in a comprehensive training on the development and implementation of Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs) in Ukraine.
About the Training
The GEIPP aims to promote circular economy approaches in industries, mitigate the climate impact of industrial activities, and enhance the resilience of industrial parks to climate change. We invite you to register for the training session on “Planning and Development of New Eco-Industrial Parks in Ukraine”. The training aim is to maximise trainer-trainee and trainee-trainee interactions to develop/share solid knowledge and practical experiences on EIP approaches and supporting tools.
The training modules will cover the following EIP topics:
- EIP site selection and site review;
- Feasibility assessment for new eco-industrial park;
- EIP concept planning;
- Industrial park master planning and EIP master plan review.
Target Audience
This training is designed for up to 30 professionals, including:
- Developers of new (eco-)industrial parks in Ukraine;
- Management entities of operational industrial parks in Ukraine;
- National service providers who are working in the field of planning, development, and operation of industrial parks.
Training Details
- Duration: Four days of training, followed by a half-day site visit.
- Location: Lviv, Ukraine.
- Dates: 14-18 April 2025
- Site Visits: Formatsiia and Port Lviv Industrial Parks.
This training provides a unique opportunity to gain insights from international and national experts, explore best practices, and share knowledge on sustainable industrial park development.
