On 5–6 March 2026, the training on the development of bankable Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) investments and banks’ financing services was held in Lviv within the framework of the project “Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme II – National-Level Implementation in Ukraine” (GEIPP-II Ukraine). The project is implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and financed by the Government of Switzerland through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
The event gathered more than 50 participants, including representatives of industrial parks, municipalities, and banking institutions.
During the training, participants learned about opportunities to attract financing from national banks and had the opportunity to discuss their specific projects and initiatives related to the development of industrial parks with bank representatives.
Participants also strengthened their practical knowledge and applied experience in preparing EIP projects suitable for bank financing, including using the EIP Access to Finance Tool.
At the same time, the event provided an opportunity for banks to gain insights into the current financing needs of industrial parks, as well as their development priorities and specific features.
