On March 3, 2021, the Government of Ukraine has adopted the National Strategy of Economic Development by 2030.
The document comprises incorporates measures to financially support upscaling economic, environmental, and energy performance of nationally registered IPs. In such a way the Government aims to create a background for Eco-Industrial Parks’ development.
The strategy also includes the following mechanisms to support the development of IPs:
• Creation of conditions for the development of IP as investment platforms with the developed engineering and transport infrastructure.
• Creation of stimulus for IP residents.
• Prioritization of IPs’ development in regional strategies.
• Electrification of the territories that have IPs.
Other related to EIP topics in the National Strategy of Economic Development are related to investment attraction, tax return on imported equipment, creation of stimulus for industrial producers, the launch of the RECP regulation, money allocation for resource and energy-saving technologies, holding high-quality technical audits.
