Eco-Industrial Parks Programme II - Ukraine Country Level intervention

Free UNIDO online course on eco-industrial parks – in Ukrainian

Curious about what an eco-industrial park is and how the EIP model works in practice? Join UNIDO’s free online course, “Eco-Industrial Parks,” available in Ukrainian on the UNIDO Learning Platform. Participants who successfully complete the course receive an official certificate.

Why does this matter right now? Ukraine’s legislative framework for EIPs is taking shape at this moment: draft law No. 12117 is approaching its second reading in the Verkhovna Rada, and the national standard DSTU 9328:2025 has been in force since 1 September 2025. International investors and donors are assessing potential partners against the EIP model and EU-aligned standards. Managing companies, park initiators and local self-government bodies that understand this model today will have a competitive advantage in attracting financing and residents in the future.

The course is based on the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Parks (UNIDO, GIZ, World Bank) and provides a comprehensive understanding of the EIP model – from core principles to practical tools and success factors. Learning is fully self-paced with no deadlines. Participants who successfully complete the course receive an official UNIDO certificate.
