On 13 May 2026, a training dedicated to the implementation of the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) approach and the use of the UNIDO RECP monitoring tool was held in Kyiv. The event was conducted in person and brought together representatives of interested industrial parks and the expert community.
A total of 25 training participants became acquainted with the methodology and the relevant UNIDO tool for implementing the RECP approach at the level of an industrial park and its tenant companies.
During the training, the Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) model and the role of RECP in ensuring its sustainability were presented, together with the general principles of the RECP implementation methodology and practical examples. Separate practical exercises on the application of this approach were also conducted. In addition, participants shared their own experience and views regarding the development of industrial parks, opportunities for implementing the EIP model, and the application of the RECP approach.
