On 8 July 2026, the workshop “Strengthening Industrial Development in Vinnytsia through Cooperation and Urban-Industrial Synergies” was conducted in Vinnytsia for representatives of Vinnytsia City Council, industrial parks and other relevant stakeholders. The event focused on identifying opportunities to strengthen cooperation among the city’s industrial sites, develop industrial synergies and establish an appropriate organisational model for collaboration.
The identification and discussion of potential areas of cooperation were structured around the following key stages:
- Presenting updated information on current and planned industrial parks and other industrial initiatives in Vinnytsia.
- Reviewing a preliminary list of potential synergy opportunities for the city council, industrial parks, industrial areas and other initiatives.
- Identifying and prioritising opportunities for cooperation in supply chains, shared utility infrastructure, by-product and waste exchanges, shared services and urban-industrial synergies.
- Reviewing potential models for strengthening cooperation between the city council and industrial parks.
- Discussing options for an organisational model, including success factors, potential challenges, roles and responsibilities, and approaches to practical implementation.
As a result of the workshop, an agreed list of priority opportunities for developing industrial and urban-industrial synergies in Vinnytsia will be prepared, together with the next steps for their practical implementation and the establishment of an appropriate cooperation model. This will contribute to more efficient use of infrastructure and resources, stronger added value chains, reduced operating costs and improved competitiveness of industrial parks and their resident companies.
