The 1st Policy workshop on EIP implementation was conducted on March 9, 2021. The purpose of the event was:
To introduce the common international experience of implementing policy related to Eco-Industrial Parks.
To share findings of the Stakeholders Mapping and Policy Analysis with the stakeholders, notably, policymakers and practitioners.
To initiate early discussions on the national EIP policy vision/goal, policy interventions priorities, and EIP policy roadmap development, which will serve as a basis for future Consultation Workshop in April 2021.
The event brought together decision-makers (government institutions) and practitioners (local authorities, selected IPs) to coordinate activities on implementing the policy component of the Project and launch communication between them for EIP policy development.
