The training workshop on eco-industrial park (EIP) topics was held during the Study Tour of Ukrainian delegation to Viena (21-24 February, 2023).
The objectives of the workshop included:
- Further developing a common understanding of the benefits of EIPs in order to embed their adoption and mainstreaming in post-conflict planning and reconstruction;
- Highlighting the extensive EIP toolkit developed by UNIDO that can assist in planning and development of EIPs, whether brownfield or greenfield;
- Strengthening the EIP stakeholder network across policy and industry to streamline EIP mainstreaming in Ukraine.
